The Whys and Wherefores

So why start a blog, particularly one that I am paying for when I can and have used a social media site up until now?

It's partially wanting to have more control and the feeling that in someways social media sites have got rather poisonous of late

This is designed to be a feel-good blog sharing good times and photographs as I have done before although I may comment on current affairs as and when I feel the need.

The end of last year saw rather a change to my life when I moved away from the fens of East Anglia to the coast of Lancashire and no doubt much over the following year will cover observations and feelings for my adopted town.

So onward with this new venture and see where it takes me.
