The Langoliers

Actually a two-part TV series although not slotted into two episodes as say Salem's Lot is. This film is also from a book by Stephen King one of his short stories so as with all Stephen King stories one approaches a TV/ film adaption with some trepidation. Not having read the book I had no idea what to expect but found it one of the best of its type that I had seen. True I agree with one critic that it is like a three hour episode of The Outer Limits and perhaps some of the characters a little obvious but I thought it a very cleverly constructing bit of hokum.
